SUMMARY:The Moon Village Association invited to the 2nd International Space Exploration Forum Side Event for Industry "I-ISEF" on 2 March 2018
DESCRIPTION:The Moon Village Association (MVA) is the only independent\, international\, non-governmental organization to be invited by JAXA to participate in the ISEF 2 Side Event for Industry « I-ISEF » and will join the Panel Discussion on Space Exploration Businesses on 2 March 2018 at The Westin Tokyo. \nThe International Space Exploration Forum (ISEF) is a meeting for dialogue among ministers and other high-level government representatives targeted at promoting international collaboration in space exploration. The Japan’s Minister for Education\, Culture\, Sports\, Science\, and Technology (MEXT) will sponsor an international ministerial event — The 2nd International Space Exploration Forum (ISEF2) on 3 March 2018. The event will be a gathering of high-level governmental representatives who will examine how space exploration expands the horizons of humanity and how it challenges us to gain and share the knowledge\, experiences and benefits as common assets for all humankind. Discussion will stress the importance of building global cooperation in an appropriate framework for international space exploration including its sustainable development. \nFor more information related to ISEF-2\, please visit: http://www.isef2.jp \nAt the same time\, the Side Event entitled “I-ISEF” with the focus of activities in industrial areas will be held\, bringing together various players and stakeholders from around the world. The I-ISEF is organized by Cabinet Office\, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) together with relevant ministries\, MEXT and METI\, on 2 march 2018. It is a platform for participants to share their future visions of space exploration and expand space exploration market as a viable business\, and discuss opportunities to enter the space exploration businesses for non-space industries and startups.
