Lu Yu

Professor Lu Yu served as vice president of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT)from 2003 to 2017 and the director of Science and Technology Committee of CALT from 2003 to 2008 & 2015 to 2018. He has presided over the advance research of launch vehicles, development planning and demonstration, research and development, and management. He has won the China aerospace fund award, the China State Council government special allowance, and other awards.
He was elected a full member of the International Academy of Astronautics(IAA) in 2008 and the chairman of Commission 3 on Space Technology & System Development of IAA from 2013 to 2015. At present, Lu Yu is a trustee of the Chinese Society of Astronautics(CSA) and executive vice president of the Beijing Society of Astronautics (BSA). He is the member of Commission 3 of IAA and co-editor of journal ACTA Astronautica.
