Imanuela Ionescu has studies in law and in international relations, with emphasis in space programs. Through her publications, she punctuates her analysis with the importance of the technological development and the development of space programs. She is a legal adviser, working for a national professional organization in legal area, being also member of the board of a professional organization for 11 years.
She participated to several activities of the MVA, being member of the first delegation of the MVA as an observer member at the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) in February 2020. She had a role in the assignment of the Memorandum of Understanding between the MVA and the Romanian Space Agency. She is also the coordinator for Latin America of the MVA project “Participation of Emerging Space Countries (PESC)”, using her experience following a master study in Brazil for 2 years and bringing her contribution to the development of international cooperation for the Moon Village concept.
