MVA is looking for a Treasurer
The Moon Village Association (MVA) invites applications for the position of Treasurer, a key role within its Board. The Treasurer contributes directly to the governance, financial oversight, and long-term sustainability of the Association.
About the Role
As a member of the Board, the Treasurer supports the Association’s financial management and contributes to strategic decision-making. The role involves working closely with fellow Board members and relevant partners to ensure transparency, accountability, and sound financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial affairs of the Association at Board level
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget
- Review and present financial updates to the Board
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements
- Ensure alignment with applicable financial rules and good governance practices
- Contribute to financial planning and sustainability discussions
- Coordinate yearly Audit in cooperation with Auditors
Desired Qualifications
- At least 10 years of professional experience, preferably in the space sector or a related international environment
- Experience in financial management
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and integrity
- Attention to detail and sound judgment
- Ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative, international Board environment

Additional Information
- This is a voluntary Board position
- Active participation in Board meetings and related activities is expected
- The selected candidate must be an existing MVA Member or will become one before appointment
