Press Release – Vernewell Group Announces the Moon Village Association Lunar Activities Symposium at the Quantum Innovation Summit 2026

Dubai, United Arab Emirates / Vienna, Austria | 21 May 2026
Vernewell Group, in partnership with the Moon Village Association (MVA), announces the MVA’s Global Expert Group on Sustainable Lunar Activities Symposium, “Quantum Technologies, Emerging Systems & Lunar Operations”. The event will take place on 28 September 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Conference & Exhibition Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as a dedicated Moonshot Program within the Quantum Futures Forum at the Quantum Innovation Summit 2026.
Founded and organized by Vernewell Group and hosted by the UAE Cyber Security Council, the Quantum Innovation Summit 2026 is held under the theme “Quantum & Emerging Frontiers: Advancing Global Innovation & Technological Leadership.
Now in its third edition, the Summit has evolved into a leading international platform focused on quantum technologies, emerging systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, governance, future operational ecosystems, and long-term technological capability development. Within this ecosystem, the Quantum Futures Forum functions as the Summit’s dedicated high-level strategic and institutional platform focused on future operational environments, governance frameworks, infrastructure systems, resilience, interoperability, emerging technologies, and long-term capability development across critical sectors and future ecosystems.
The Forum creates a focused environment connecting policymakers, infrastructure operators, international organizations, strategic stakeholders, researchers, technology developers, and emerging technology ecosystems, examining how future operational systems will evolve across increasingly interconnected technological environments.
Positioned within the Quantum Futures Forum ecosystem, the Moon Village Association’s Global Expert Group on Sustainable Lunar Activities Symposium expands this international dialogue by connecting sustainable lunar and cislunar activities with quantum technologies, AI, robotics, infrastructure systems, communications architectures, operational coordination environments, space resources, governance frameworks, and future operational ecosystems beyond Earth.
Malak Trabelsi Loeb, CEO of Vernewell Group said “Our partnership with the Moon Village Association marks an important international step in connecting quantum technologies and emerging systems with sustainable lunar and cislunar activities. As these activities become more operational, secure communications, AI, robotics, sensing, navigation, coordination, and resilient infrastructure become increasingly relevant.” She added: “The launch of the Global Expert Group on Sustainable Lunar Activities Symposium within the Quantum Innovation Summit represents a premier first-of-its-kind international program dedicated to this convergence, bringing together governments, infrastructure operators, researchers, policymakers, and technology ecosystems around the capabilities needed for sustainable lunar operations and cislunar coordination.”
Organized in partnership with the Moon Village Association and curated by its Global Expert Group on Sustainable Lunar Activities, the symposium reflects growing international recognition that future lunar systems will require structured operational coordination, governance, interoperability, infrastructure architectures, and legal frameworks capable of supporting complex multi-actor operational ecosystems.
Giuseppe Reibaldi, President of the Moon Village Association, said “The symposium brings together, for the first time, quantum technology developers and operators with the lunar exploration and utilization community. This is the first step in a broader collaborative effort that will accelerate the development of the emerging lunar ecosystem.”
Through its work, including contributions to the ‘Recommended Framework and Key Elements for Peaceful and Sustainable Lunar Activities’, the MVA continues to shape global discussions on governance, interoperability, and sustainable lunar development. Its participation as a permanent observer in the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) further underscores its leadership in this domain.
