Latin American Lunar Exploration Working Group (LALEx WG)

Latin American Lunar Exploration Working Group (LALEx WG)

The Latin American Lunar Exploration Working Group (LALEx WG) serves as a platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences among public and private space sector operators from Latin American countries, with the objective of improving communication among stakeholders and understanding the levels of space development across the nations. During its one-year mandate, it will identify the main common issues that need to be addressed for the region to effectively integrate into the new era of lunar exploration. Likewise, it will identify areas of converging interests and opportunities for cooperation.

Finally, it will produce a guiding document, including Guidelines, outlining actions in both the public and private spheres that will be beneficial for the establishment of a Latin American ecosystem focused on participation in lunar exploration.
