As the conclusion of the “One to one video call with an Astronaut” Contest that MVA released on May, the call took place.

The Contest winner, 21 years old, Electronic Engineering student at Pavia University in Italy, Filippo Scandurra, was given the opportunity to have a 30-minute one-to-one conversation with astronaut Dorin Prunariu.

Dorin Prunariu flown into space aboard Soyuz 40 spacecraft and Salyut 6 space laboratory to complete scientific experiments in the fields of astrophysics, space radiation, technology, medicine and biology.

The duo had a very interesting conversation, with Mr. Prunariu sharing stories and photographs from both his days in space and his training here on Earth. Filippo had the chance to have his questions answered by Mr. Prunariu and had a discussion about the future.
